ABOUT THE JOURNAL

AIM AND SCOPE

Platform A Journal of Management and Humanities (PJMH) (eISSN 2637-0859) provides a space for the discussion of scholarly ideas pertaining to the human sciences as these ideas intersect with society, history, culture and modern economies. For this reason, PJMH is broadly divided into disciplines of business and management studies, language and education studies as well as theology and cultural studies. Although broad, these disciplines are bound together by a singular drive towards using evidence-based research to play an important role in policy-making and community-building.

Fields related to the scope of PJMH include but are not limited to Management (Accounting, Consumer Behaviour, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Law, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, Technology Management, Banking, Organizational Studies) and Humanities (Cultural Studies, Educational Research, Historical and Civilisation Studies, Language and Linguistics, Literacy, Literature, Media and Communication Studies, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Political Sciences and Public Policy, Sociology and Tourism).

PJMH aims to present a breadth of publications that can cater to reporting academic work ranging from early to completed research projects. Thus, although PJMH is a refereed journal, it also provides room to report working papers, occasional papers, policy papers and book reviews. This is to encourage a culture of scholarship across all levels of academia. PJMH is currently published yearly. Because it is in open-accessed format, its readership is expected to have an international reach.
