PEER REVIEW PROCESS
ASNet committed to upholding the integrity of academic scholarship, fostering a fair and rigorous peer review environment, and advancing knowledge dissemination within the scholarly community. The manuscript submission process follows several steps to ensure a thorough and unbiased double-blind peer-review process as follows:
- The manuscript will initially undergo a desk review by the editors. They may accept the manuscript directly, reject it, or decide to proceed with the review.
 - Each manuscript that passes desk review is assigned to at least two appointed independent reviewers for a double-blind peer review process, meaning the identities of both the reviewers and authors are concealed from each other.
 - Reviewers are carefully selected based on their expertise in the relevant field. Efforts are made to avoid conflicts of interest and ensure diverse perspectives in the review process.
 - The manuscript will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1.      The topic is relevant to the scope of the journal
2.      Appropriateness of the research methodology adopted
3.      Adequate references are made to other works in the field
4.      Findings and conclusions are well discussed, useful, and clearly presented
5.      The research significantly contributes to body of knowledge
6.      The manuscript complies to the ethical guidelines including originality and plagiarism
- If revisions are required, the author is given the opportunity to revise the manuscript based on the comments and suggestions provided by the reviewers. After making the necessary revisions, the author resubmits the revised manuscript for assessment.
 - Decisions on the manuscript publication will be based on the recommendations, considerations and approval by the Editorial Board. The decision will then be sent to the author via email. The possible decisions include:

1.      Accepted as it is: The manuscript is accepted for publication in its original form.
2.      Accepted with Minor Revisions: The manuscript is accepted, and the author is requested to make small corrections within a specified timeframe.
3.      Accepted with Major Revisions: The manuscript is accepted, but the author is required to address the changes suggested by the reviewers and/or editors within a specified timeframe.
4.      Resubmit Elsewhere: The manuscript does not fit or outside the scope of the journal.
5.      Decline Submission: The manuscript is rejected due to significant weakness and not meeting the journal’s standards.
- Manuscripts submitted by Journal Editorial Board Members are subject to the same review procedures.
 - The accepted manuscript undergoes the galley proof stage, where formatting and copyediting are performed. After finalizing these processes, the paper is published online, as per the journal's publishing format.
