This study adopted a qualitative research approach, aiming to gain a deep understanding of parents' perspectives on community-based rehabilitation (CBR) services. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select respondents. The research was conducted across CBR centres located in both West Malaysia and East Malaysia. The data was collected through an open-ended questionnaire survey and distributed physically and online via Google Forms. A total of 572 parents participated in the study, providing a comprehensive view of their perspective on the CBR services. The analysis of the collected data was conducted using NVivo 14. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify, analyse, and report the collected data. Furthermore, a word cloud analysis was conducted using NVivo, which provided a visual representation of the frequency of words used in the participants' responses. The word cloud displayed the 30 most frequently occurring words, highlighting the words frequently stated by the respondents. The findings revealed that long-term, employee, and performance orientation are significant factors in improving rehabilitation services. The parents believe that better internal communication and collaboration could enhance service delivery.
