Abstract
  • Artikel ini menganalisis komponen kredibiliti berita dalam akhbar, televisyen dan atas talian (online). Kajian ini bertujuan mengkaji persepsi khalayak terhadap kredibiliti sistem penyampaian berita dalam media iaitu akhbar, televisyen dan internet. Kaedah survei terhadap 100 responden dijalankan di sekitar Lembah Kelang pada tahun 2009 untuk menilai kredibiliti berita akhbar, televisyen dan atas talian dengan menggunakan skala kredibiliti berita yang dikemukakan oleh Gaziano dan McGrath (1986) iaitu amanah, semasa, berat sebelah, adil, lengkap, objektif, jujur, terkini, percaya/yakin, seimbang, ketepatan dan tepat pada masa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa kredibiliti berita dalam akhbar dan televisyen mempunyai persamaan tetapi tidak kepada kredibiliti berita internet.
