Examining the Rights of Soldiers to Make Privileged Will in Malaysia
Soldiers are allowed to make a privileged will in actual military service under the Wills Act 1959. This paper examines how privileged wills may be made by soldiers in Malaysia. This paper adopts a qualitative research methodology, employing a doctrinal content analysis that would provide a subterranean understanding of the privileged wills in Malaysia. The findings reveal that the Armed Forces Act 1972 is lacking in the provision of law on privileged will.
