Abstract
This study explores the integration of drama education within aesthetic education frameworks in colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia, China. With an increasing emphasis on quality education in China, aesthetic education has emerged as a key component in fostering comprehensive personal development. Despite its cultural richness, drama education remains underutilized as a pedagogical tool for aesthetic development. This paper identifies the current challenges in implementing drama education, examines its potential for fostering creativity, emotional intelligence and critical thinking and proposes strategies to integrate drama education fosters emotional engagement, enhances aesthetic sensibilities, and promotes holistic development among students.
