Abstract
  • This study aims to evaluate the compliance level of Pringgondani Stadium with FIFA standards and to analyze the required facility upgrades and long-term maintenance cost projections to ensure sustainable stadium operations. The research is based on the need to enhance regional stadium infrastructure in Indonesia, particularly due to the gaps in safety, accessibility, and supporting facilities at many local venues. The study employs a descriptive-evaluative approach through field observations, technical measurements, document analysis, a structured FIFA compliance. e checklist, and an approximate estimate assessment to determine long-term maintenance requirements. The findings indicate that Pringgondani Stadium meets only a small portion of FIFA indicators, particularly those related to pitch dimensions, warm-up areas, and basic functional rooms, while more than 70% of the standards remain doesn’t meet, including seating capacity, lighting, media facilities, doping control rooms, CCTV, sanitation, disability access, and safety infrastructure. The proposed development plan aims to upgrade the stadium to FIFA Category 4 by expanding seating capacity to more than 3,000 individual seats, installing 500-lux floodlighting, constructing security and media facilities, improving player and official rooms, and providing comprehensive disability-accessible amenities. Overall, the study concludes that improving Pringgondani Stadium requires not only major infrastructure upgrades but also a sustainable planned maintenance system to ensure long-term compliance with FIFA standards and to support its role as a safe, inclusive, and competitive sports venue.
