Abstract
Interdisciplinary teaching is a teaching method that integrates knowledge, skills and methods of different disciplines to solve or explore problems. It is gradually becoming an important trend of modern education, providing students with the necessary ability and perspective to deal with the complex practical problems in the 21st century. In this study, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to systematically collate and analyze 772 scholarly articles related to interdisciplinary teaching in high education, published in the Web of Science database for the last five years, from 2020 to 2024. The analysis utilized CiteSpace tools to identify and profile influential countries, institutions, annual trends, and major subject areas in the field. Additionally, the study revealed eight major research clusters. These findings provide a valuable reference for guiding future research in interdisciplinary teaching.
