Skala amalan integriti penyertaan politik: kesahan dan psikometrik

Abstract
  • Integriti penyertaan politik merupakan amalan yang sepatutnya wujud dalam persekitaran demokrasi seperti Malaysia. Kajian empirikal integriti penyertaan politik kurang diberi perhatian pengkaji sains sosial dan kemanusiaan. Justeru itu, kajian ini fokus menilai skala psikometrik integriti penyertaan politik golongan muda. Bagi menguji nilai integriti, skala integriti penyertaan politik yang diadaptasi diuji ke atas 388 mahasiswa negeri Melaka dari empat Institusi Pengajian Tinggi iaitu Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia, Melaka, Universiti Multimedia, (MMU) Melaka dan Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka (KUIM) secara persampelan rawak mudah. Instrumen Skala Integriti Penyertaan Politik dibentuk daripada gabungan Skala Penggunaan Media Sosial dan Penyertaan Politik Dalam Talian dan Skala Integriti untuk menguji nilai integriti golongan muda melalui Analisis Faktor Pengesahan (CFA) dan pembentukan Model CFA Skala Integriti Penyertaan Politik. Dapatan menunjukkan model multi-dimensi skala integriti penyertaan politik telah mencapai ketepatan padanan yang baik dan mencapai kesahan konvergen berdasarkan hubungan yang signifikan pemboleh ubah. Skala ini turut mencapai kesahan diskriminan dan kesahan prediktif yang menyokong ciri-ciri psikometrik versi Bahasa Melayu. Kajian ini secara langsung menyumbang kepada pembentukan Skala integriti penyertaan politik yang kurang diberi perhatian oleh penyelidik sebelumnya.
