Abstract
  • This paper explores the critical role of information technology and interdisciplinary cooperation in fostering innovation within junior high school music education. In today’s educational landscape, music instruction at the junior high school level faces a range of challenges, including monotonous content and reliance on traditional teaching methods. To address these issues, the integration of information technology and interdisciplinary collaboration has emerged as a key strategy for driving educational innovation. Information technology offers a wealth of resources and tools that enrich music teaching, while also encouraging diversity and interactivity in instructional methods. At the same time, interdisciplinary cooperation expands students’ intellectual horizons, enhances their overall competencies, and makes music education more practical, engaging, and relevant to real-world contexts. By combining these two approaches, junior high school music education can innovate across various dimensions—content, pedagogy, and instructional formats—thereby improving both teaching effectiveness and student motivation. This paper concludes that information technology and interdisciplinary cooperation play an indispensable role in advancing music education at the junior high level and merit continued promotion and broader implementation.
