Abstract
  • Attitude of the organization depends on the commitments of all employees in the organization, and the working environment is essential for employees to strive to their full potential. Thus, this present study aimed to examine the mediating effects of organizational culture between organizational training on employee Well-Being. A sample of 120 employees responded to the survey and were selected through a quota and stratified sampling. A questionnaire was adopted and adapted which examined the impact of training on employee performance in the organization. The inferential analysis method was used to achieve the objectives of the study. In addition, the test of direct and indirect effects in SPSS were utilized through the Sobel test for mediation procedures. The study concluded several findings, most importantly the statistically significant positive direct effect of organizational training on employee well-being among Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) who are in the Human Resources Department and the Islamic Affairs Department respectively. Organizational training has a statistically significant effect on organizational culture. In addition, the study revealed that organizational culture partially mediates between organizational training and employee well-being. However, organizational training has an insignificant statistical indirect effect on employee well-being via organizational culture. This research results contributed by highlighting the significance of organizational training on employee well-being in raising awareness and improving employees Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
