Penggunaan peralatan multisensori buku audio dalam meningkatkan minat murid-murid masalah pembelajaran terhadap membaca

Abstract
  • Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan buku audio yang merupakan salah satu peralatan multisensori dalam meningkatkan minat murid-murid masalah pembelajaran dalam membaca. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengumpul data. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah soal selidik. Oleh itu, 80 orang guru Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi dari lapan sekolah rendah di Alor Star, Kedah dipilih sebagai responden untuk soal selidik. Analisis data menunjukkan kebanyakan guru mempunyai tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan buku audio. Penggunaan buku audio membolehkan guru PPKI melibatkan murid-murid masalah pembelajaran dengan teks buku audio sesungguhpun berupaya membantu meningkatkan minat membaca dalam kalangan murid-murid masalah pembelajaran. Dengan timbulnya minat terhadap membaca, dapat membantu menjana kreativiti murid. Walaupun guru mempunyai pandangan positif terhadap penggunaan buku audio, kajian ini mencadangkan ia akan lebih kukuh jika juga mengambilkira pandangan murid memandangkan mereka adalah golongan yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran multisensori.
