Abstract
The logistics and delivery industry is undergoing rapid transformation due to technological advancements, evolving consumer demands, and sustainability challenges. Companies such as Lalamove must adopt innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency, optimize last-mile delivery, and improve supply chain resilience. This study explores the impact of artificial intelligence, blockchain, automation, and smart warehousing on logistics performance. Findings indicate that AI-driven route optimization, digital inventory management, and real-time tracking systems contribute significantly to reducing delivery time and operational costs. However, challenges such as urban congestion, fluctuating fuel prices, and regulatory compliance remain key barriers to efficiency. Additionally, the transition toward green logistics, including the adoption of electric and hydrogen-powered fleets, presents financial and infrastructural constraints. The study highlights the importance of integrating super-apps, decentralized logistics networks, and AI-driven forecasting to drive long-term industry growth. Future advancements in digitalization, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory frameworks will shape the competitiveness of logistics firms. By leveraging emerging technologies and proactive sustainability efforts, companies can achieve efficiency, compliance, and a competitive advantage in the global logistics landscape.
