Abstract
  • The distributive leadership approach is more systematic and can facilitate the production of quality education as well as enhance the effectiveness of school management. Management and subordinates experience increased trust and execute their responsibilities more efficiently. This indicates that the practice of distributive leadership and the psychological capital have a relationship with the school management process. This study aims to investigate the relationship of distributive leadership, psychological capital and the school management process. The research employed a survey methodology, utilizing questionnaires for data collection. A total of 450 primary school teachers in Sarawak participated as survey respondents. The sample selection was conducted using the cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Smart PLS version 4.0. The analysis revealed a significant relationship between distributive leadership, psychological capital and the school management process. This research offers valuable insights for the Ministry of Education and Culture, specifically the Board of Inspectors, in evaluating effectiveness and capability by considering elements that enhance school management processes among elementary school educators in Sarawak. Additionally, this study sheds light on how distributive leadership, psychological capital and school management processes interact to create effective administration in educational institutions.
