Existing research on the developing process of the nationalization of Chinese oil painting is mainly conducted from two directions: The first one is to start from the direction of creative practice, that is, to study the developing process of the ideological trend of nationalization in Chinese oil painting according to chronological order and through the specific artistic practices of Chinese artists in the process of nationalization of oil painting. The academic achievements are relatively rich; The second one is to proceed from a theoretical direction and conduct research through the theories formed by academic discussions on the nationalization of oil painting in various periods. However, the time of theoretical research only stayed in the 1980s, with relatively few research achievements, and the latest developments were not updated promptly. Therefore, the researcher continues to proceed from a theoretical perspective and by analyzing the content of textual documents. The results revealed the development of theoretical level and theoretical viewpoints of nationalization of oil painting. The researcher focuses on academic conferences in various periods of nationalization of oil painting, studies the developing process of nationalization of oil painting, and obtains the long-term development regularities of the nationalization of Chinese oil painting. The researcher strives to provide new research achievements for the developing history of the nationalization of oil painting through this study.
