With the acceleration of global urbanization, urban space has become increasingly tense, and traditional ground transportation modes are no longer able to meet the growing demand for travel. As a new type of transportation, flying cars have brought new solutions to urban transportation with their unique electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) technology and intelligent unmanned driving characteristics. At the same time, vertical cities, as a design concept that efficiently utilizes urban space, are gradually becoming an important way to cope with land resource shortages and improve urban living quality. This article aims to explore in depth the necessity of combining flying cars with vertical urban architectural design, analyzing in detail from multiple dimensions such as urban planning, infrastructure construction, commercial real estate development, architectural design, and technological innovation, in order to provide useful references for the sustainable development of future cities.
