Abstract
This study aims to investigate and highlight the differences of teaching approach between traditional music education and online music education in China. This paper is about methods, teacher-student relationships, and the influence of technology on music learning. In-person instruction and real-time feedback is at the heart of music instruction, but online music education provides increased flexibility and access to a broader array of materials. It explores these two approaches in relation to their impacts on student engagement, learning outcomes, and the overall educational experience. The results indicate that despite the ease of online education, conventional teaching formats retain a more individual touch and present a strong base for skill evolution.
