Abstract
  • Work stress is a significant challenge faced by employees across industries, often affecting their ability to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This study investigates how factors such as organizational workload, role in the organization, and workplace relationships influence the work-life balance of private banking sector employees in Kuala Lumpur. Data was collected from 200 employees, including executives and senior executives, through a self-administered survey questionnaire using simple random sampling. Multiple regression analysis revealed a strong positive relationship between organizational workload role in organization, with work-life balance, reflected in an R-squared value of 0.7. These findings highlight the importance of managing workload and fostering positive workplace relationships to improve employees’ work-life balance. The study underscores the need for banking institutions to adopt policies that mitigate stress, such as reducing excessive workloads and promoting supportive workplace environments, without compromising organizational productivity. By addressing the root causes of employee stress, banks can enhance employee well-being, foster long-term organizational growth, and improve their competitive edge. This research provides valuable insights for organizations aiming to create a sustainable balance between employee productivity and personal well-being.
