Abstract
  • The increase in fast-food restaurants globally suggests a continuous demand for fast food, especially among youth. To explore this trend, researchers reviewed previous studies to identify the factors influencing youth fast food consumption, including price, product quality, atmosphere, and advertising. This argumentative research study utilised secondary data to synthesise and analyse previous findings. Most past studies revealed that price is the most significant factor affecting youth fast food consumption. In contrast, other factors such as product quality, atmosphere, and advertising also play a role. However, it is important to note that the relationship between these factors is context-dependent and varies across different studies. This paper will provide an extensive overview of the factors influencing fast food consumption among youth worldwide. It is intended to serve as a valuable resource for future researchers seeking to investigate this area or identify research gaps.
