Abstract
Dollarization and de-dollarization are two of the most recent topics based on the current world situation. Because of the Russia-Ukraine war, most countries are facing economic turmoil. Bangladesh is a developing country which are also economically affected because of Russia-Ukraine war. Import & Export of this country also conducted in US dollar. The main objective of this research is to find out the factors (exchange rate, economic sanctions, price of commodities) with Russia-Ukraine war as a moderating variable that influence the preferences for de-dollarization in Bangladesh. PLS-SEM will be used for analysing the factors. All data will be collected through a survey questionnaire. Financial experts such as academics, financial decision makers from respective government institutions will be considered as population. The non-probability sample technique will be used to select the number of samples. Data confidentiality will be maintained throughout this research.
