Abstract
  • This topic adopts the method of literature research, observation, interview and questionnaire to study the influence of indoor environment on the rehabilitation and education of autistic children, so as to explore the direction of interior design for autistic children. First, the literature research method was adopted to consult and sort out the basic characteristics, relevant behavioral patterns, educational methods and other elements of autistic children, and the situation analysis and relevant research results of user experience were combined to provide a theoretical basis and reference for this study. Second, field research was conducted on the school for autistic children, and interviews and questionnaires were conducted on the school staff. According to the survey results, among all areas in need of improvement, the student training area accounted for 60% of the improvement, and the student living area and other living areas accounted for 39.25% of the improvement, 41.25%. Most of the teaching staff thought that the indoor environment was not interesting and the function distribution of indoor space was confused accounted for 40.75% and 37.5%, respectively. Based on the analysis of interview and questionnaire data, it is suggested that in the interior design of schools, emphasis should be placed on setting up a variety of interactive Spaces and multimedia classrooms, emphasizing the fun and variability of space, so as to improve the learning and training of life skills of autistic students. Finally, through statistical analysis of the behavioral patterns and frequency of autistic children in the classroom by observation method, combined with the results of literature research, interview and questionnaire, the design direction of the indoor environment for the rehabilitation and education of autistic children is analyzed, providing guidance for future research in related fields.
