Abstract
  • Any organization's ability to operate continuously and survive depends on having a safer workplace. The creation of safer work environments ought to be an organization's top priority. This study aimed to investigate the factors influencing the safety behaviour of logistic workers in Malaysia. The employees were administered a questionnaire as part of the quantitative method used in this study. In this study, independent T-test, Pearson correlation, and descriptive analysis were used. Software called the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.0 was used to analyze the results. The researcher has identified three independent variables that impact the safety behaviour of logistic workers in Malaysia: safety motivation, safety training, and management commitment. At the same time, the study's dependent variable is safety behaviour. The results of the data analysis indicate that management commitment, safety training, and safety motivation have a positive significant correlation towards safety behaviour, which is P-value is 0.000 less than α = 0.05. The study's conclusions indicate that each of the three independent variables helps to explain why Malaysian logisticians behave safely. In addition, researchers have offered a number of recommendations to direct future research to ensure that this study can be enhanced by later researchers.
