The relationship between empathy and psychological capital: A systematic literature review

Abstract
  • The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between empathy and psychological capital through a systematic literature review. Outlining the concept of empathy, the components and measurement of psychological capital, and current research on the relationship between these two constructs, it examines the theoretical frameworks that explain the interaction between empathy and psychological capital and discusses the practical implications of this relationship for individuals and organizations. Finally, directions for future research are suggested.
