The findings highlight changes in creative focus, the establishment of awards and institutions, and the activity of creation and publication, emphasising the dynamic nature of traditional Chinese cultural picture books. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of picture books in promoting cultural heritage and fostering intercultural exchange. It also underscores the significance of preserving and promoting traditional Chinese culture through children's literature.
