Employability for graduates of chinese higher vocational colleges: Challenges and future directions

Abstract
  • The current economic environment in China has brought new opportunities and challenges, and students from Chinese higher vocational schools, as an indispensable part of the workforce, are an important driving force for the high-quality development of Chinese economy. This study discussed the employment issues among students’ employment in higher vocational schools. We proposed a tripartite employment model involving enterprises, higher vocational schools, and students, aiming to improve students' ability, meet the interests of both enterprises and students, and finally ensure graduates from higher vocational schools to obtain jobs.
