Abstract
  • This study investigates the impact of the gig economy and fraudulent influence on employee turnover among Generation Z, with a specific focus on the moderating role of social media influence. As Generation Z increasingly participates in the gig economy, the influence of flexible work arrangements and online platforms has grown, presenting both opportunities and challenges in retaining employees. This study explores how fraudulent influences, such as deceptive online job offers and misleading recruitment practices, contribute to the rising turnover rates within this demographic. Furthermore, it examines how social media, as a pervasive tool in communication and professional networking, moderates the relationship between these factors and employee turnover. By employing quantitative methods, this research aims to provide insights into the dynamics of Generation Z's employment patterns, offering practical implications for companies in managing turnover and improving retention strategies. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the intersection between emerging work trends and generational workforce behavior.
