Abstract
Recently, trade inefficiencies among countries have emerged as a critical challenge that impedes the progression of international trade development. Trade facilitation presents a viable solution by streamlining the trade process and enhancing efficiency, making it a crucial strategy. Consequently, more scholars are directing their attention to this area. This systematic literature review consolidates research on the empirical analysis of the effects of trade facilitation levels on exports, covering the period from 2003 to 2024. It evaluates the methodologies researchers utilize and offers suggestions for how future studies could further advance this field. The study has two research questions: How are trade facilitation indicators measured? How does the level of trade facilitation affect export? The findings provide valuable insights for improving trade facilitation and increasing trade levels.
