Abstract
Digital banks in Malaysia have seen significant growth, yet Islamic digital banks remain in a niche phase of development. This conceptual study seeks to bridge the gap by applying the Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM) to analyse how factors like optimism, innovativeness, discomfort, insecurity, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness influence the adoption of Islamic digital banking. Through a comprehensive analysis, this study aims to provide actionable insights for improving customer adoption rates and advancing the integration of Islamic principles in digital banking solutions. Therefore, it contributed to both academic research and industry practice in the field of digital banking.
