Abstract
  • One of the most significant challenges confronting managers today in overseeing their workforce is ensuring employee job satisfaction. Employees constitute the most vital resource within any organization; their value tends to increase with longer tenure. Extensive research across various disciplines has been conducted to identify the determinants of employee job satisfaction. Central to employee well-being is the perception that employment within a particular organization represents an optimal choice, accompanied by a strong sense of organizational satisfaction. This study identifies several key factors influencing employee job satisfaction, including compensation, peer relationships, and the working environment. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered via Google Forms, segmented into five sections: demographics, compensation, peer relationships, working environment, and job satisfaction. The target population comprised 150 employees working within the Klang Valley and Selangor regions. A total of 151 responses were successfully gathered within a two-week period. The analysis revealed significant relationships among the studied variables. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 29, employing reliability and correlation analyses to evaluate the measurement instrument and assess the associations between variables.
