Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of debris discharge carrying sediment in the Tempuran River, Parangjoho Watershed located upstream of the Parangjoho dam, Wonogiri Regency. This study uses secondary data on Parangjoho rainfall and watershed delineation from DEMNAS using HEC-HMS. Rainfall data is validated by calculating the consistency test using the Rescaled Adjusted Partial Sums (RAPS) and the Stationary Test using the F and T Test methods. To calculate the design rainfall using the normal probability distribution method, The design flood discharge analysis uses the synthetic unit hydrograph (HSS) method of Snyder, Nakayasu, and SCS-CN. Then the calculation of the debris flood discharge is carried out based on the Sabo Works Manual from Japan International Cooperation (JICA) in 2010. The results of this analysis show that the debris flood discharge in the Tempuran River, Parangjoho Watershed with a return period of 100 years (Q100) is the largest at 134.61 m3/sec using the Nakayasu method.
