Abstract
  • Efficient warehouse management is a critical component of modern supply chain operations, directly influencing inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and service quality. The integration of advanced technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), artificial intelligence (AI), and automation has significantly improved operational performance. This study examines the benefits and challenges associated with technological advancements in warehouse management, with a particular focus on implementation costs, workforce adaptability, cybersecurity risks, and regulatory barriers. While digital transformation enhances efficiency and scalability, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) often struggle with financial constraints and interoperability issues. Additionally, cybersecurity threats pose significant risks to data security and system reliability. To address these challenges, this study explores strategic solutions, including structured workforce training, financial incentives, and regulatory standardization, to promote the seamless adoption of smart warehouse technologies. The findings emphasize the necessity of collaborative efforts between industry stakeholders, policymakers, and technology providers to foster a resilient, technologically advanced, and sustainable warehouse ecosystem. Future research should investigate emerging trends such as blockchain integration, AI-driven predictive analytics, and autonomous robotics for further optimization of warehouse operations.
