Abstract
  • Sebagai impak dari globalisasi dan persaingan sengit dalam perniagaan, risiko organisasi semakin meningkat dan pengurusan risiko telah menjadi sebahagian penting untuk menjamin kejayaan hampir setiap organisasi tanpa mengira jenis perniagaan dan saiznya. Dengan ancaman yang semakin meningkat, Pengurusan Kesinambungan Perniagaan (Business Continuity Management - BCM) telah muncul dalam pelbagai industri sebagai pendekatan sistematik untuk mengatasi kesan daripada krisis dan bencana. Evolusi awal BCM sejak Perancangan Pemulihan Bencana (Disaster Recovery Planning - DRP) kepada Perancangan Kesinambungan Perniagaan (Business Continuity Planning - BCP) dan akhirnya sehingga kini, BCM telah membawa kepada beberapa takrifan berbeza yang dikemukakan dari semasa ke semasa. Oleh yang demikian, kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perkembangan BCM melalui kajian literatur.
