Abstract
  • Music therapy, a professional treatment method that uses music and its elements to promote the physical and mental health of individuals, has a long history and remarkable effects. With the rapid development of technology, its combination with new technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) in the medical field has brought many innovative opportunities. VR technology can create an immersive virtual music environment for music therapy, while AI technology can provide personalized treatment recommendations for therapists based on data analysis, improving the treatment effect and enhancing the patient's treatment experience. This study aims to systematically explore the application of VR and AI in music therapy, covering a systematic review of existing relevant literature, an explanation of the theoretical basis and practical application of VR and AI in music therapy, a discussion of how the two technologies collaborate to optimize the treatment process, and an introduction to practical applications through case studies, demonstrating the effectiveness of VR and AI technologies in actual music therapy and their potential in enhancing the patient experience.
