Abstract
  • To preserve the historical heritage of bronze drums, there is a need to investigate the origin and classification, use, and making of traditional bronze drums. The purpose of this study is to complete the historical records of traditional bronze drums through the origin and classification of traditional bronze drums. This study uses a literature review to document the historical use of traditional bronze drums. Then a literature review was conducted to find the making of traditional bronze drums. In the later period, the history of traditional bronze drums was evaluated through a literature review to improve the historical documentation of traditional bronze drums. The research results include the origin and classification, use, and making of traditional bronze drums. The research results are expected to reveal the origin and classification variables of traditional bronze drums, the use variables of traditional bronze drums, and the manufacturing process variables of traditional bronze drums. A theoretical framework for the origin and classification, use, and making of traditional bronze drums is proposed. After the introduction of the background problem, this proposal will present the literature on the origin and classification, use, making of traditional bronze drums, and improve historical documentation, and describe the research methodology before presenting the expected results. The study contributes to proposing documentary records of the history of traditional bronze drums. It recommended preserving the historical heritage of traditional bronze drums.
