Bankruptcy issue among youth is associated with the weaknesses of their personal financial management. In this context, young graduates are very vulnerable as they are now entering the life phase of earning their own income and making their own financial decisions. Moreover, it has been expressed that graduates are accumulating considerable obligation from their university living and study expenses. Due to these situations, a healthy financial behaviour of young graduates is critical since it would lead to good personal financial management. This study investigates the factors affecting the financial behaviour of young graduates. In total, 160 questionnaires were accepted and analysed. The results show that personal financial knowledge, parental role modelling and parents’ direct teaching have a significant relationship with financial behaviour of young graduates. The findings provide valuable insights to researchers and related organisations.
