Abstract
  • The use of social media platforms such as TikTok has become increasingly popular in recent years, and it is not limited to entertainment purposes only. This paper explores the potential benefits of using TikTok as a tool for learning the English language. The study analyses how TikTok can enhance language learning by providing learners with exposure to authentic language use, opportunities to practise language skills, and engagement with a community of language learners. The qualitative method was used in conducting this study. The findings suggest that TikTok can be an effective supplement to traditional language learning methods, providing learners with a fun and engaging way to develop their language skills. However, further research is needed to determine the full extent of TikTok's potential as a language-learning tool.
