Abstract
  • Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka persepsi guru terhadap kesan dan cabaran beban tugas di Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP) di Malaysia. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan penyelidikan kualitatif menggunakan kaedah temu bual. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perisian ATLAS.ti untuk mengenal pasti tema-tema utama berkaitan kesan dan cabaran beban tugas guru. Keseluruhan hasil kajian mendapati bahawa beban tugas yang berlebihan memberi kesan negatif terhadap kualiti pengajaran dan juga keadaan emosi, fizikal dan sosial seseorang guru. Malah, kekurangan sumber dan sokongan serta harapan tinggi dari pelbagai pihak dikenal pasti sebagai cabaran utama yang menambah beban tugas guru.
