Abstract
The Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) has taken steps to develop a curriculum based on international benchmarks and to introduce a more holistic assessment. As a result, one of the initiatives implemented is the integration of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). HOTS is one of the key skills in current teaching and learning practices. Education today strongly emphasizes the use of critical and creative thinking in teaching and learning. Teachers who teach Physical Education and Sports Science play a key role in identifying the development, abilities, progress, and achievements of students. Teachers are encouraged to use creativity and innovation in the teaching and learning process according to the context, location, and students' abilities. The application of the i-Think map is an approach that allows students to solve problems and engage in active learning environments. Teachers teaching Physical Education and Sports Science are entrusted with imparting knowledge and are also responsible for monitoring the development, abilities, progress, and achievements of students. The ‘RAKI’ module, based on the i-Think map, is designed to assist students in cultivating thinking skills during the learning process of Physical Education and Sports Science for Form 4 students.
