Pandemik Covid-19 dan pengabaian manusia terhadap alam sekitar: Ulasan islami

Abstract
  • Penulisan ini merupakan satu perbincangan awal dari sudut pandang Islami tentang pengabaian manusia terhadap alam sekitar dan sikap tersebut telah menjadi antara faktor penting penularan wabak Covid-19. Terdapat tiga persoalan utama yang diberikan perhatian dalam kajian ini iaitu (i) “apakah bentuk-bentuk pengabaian manusia terhadap alam sekitar ini?”; (ii) bagaimana pengabaian tersebut menjadi pencetus kepada pandemik Covid 19?” dan (iii) “apakah pandangan Islam terhadap isu ini?” Penulisan ini bersifat kualitatif dengan memberi tumpuan kepada penelitian kepustakaan terhadap data-data atau maklumat sekunder daripada bahan-bahan seperti penulisan jurnal, laporan-laporan dan makalah-makalah akhbar atau majalah yang bercetak mahupun secara dalam talian. Sebagai sebuah penulisan bersifat pandangan Islam, kajian ini turut meneliti ayat-ayat al-Quran dan hadis-hadis yang sahih. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa tingkah laku manusia dalam alam sekitar mempengaruhi kewujudan pandemik. Amaran awal terhadap perkara ini telah ditunjukkan dalam pandangan hidup Islami. Dalam masa yang sama, panduan untuk menangani permasalahan penyebaran virus Covid-19 juga ada disebut dalam pandangan hidup Islami. Penelitian terhadap keseluruhan isu ini menunjukkan bahawa pengabaian manusia terhadap peranannya untuk memelihara dan memulihara alam ini akhirnya memberi kesan kepada manusia juga.
