Abstract
  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating role of ethical behaviour on the relationship between communication ethics and quality assurance in Abu Dhabi oil and gas companies (ADNOC). This study is quantitative using a cross-sectional survey and 369 questionnaires useable from managers of ADNOC. The study utilized statistical techniques to analyze the collected data with partial least square structural - equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Also, the finding of this study showed that empirical data demonstrates a significant contribution to how mediation effects of ethical behaviour affect the relationship between communication ethics and quality assurance in ADNOC. The results of the constructs of mediating role of the ethical behaviour indicated that there were positive and significant relationships between communication ethics and quality assurance because, the mediating role of ethical behaviour contained sixteen items which include four dimensions, which are: (a) Equality/Justice (‘adl عدل), (b) Honesty (Amanah/Siddiqoh أمانة و صدق), (c) Fairness (Safaah صفاء), and (d) Integrity (Istiqomah اساقامة). Therefore, the results of this study provide some insights to the managers of the quality assurance in Abu Dhabi oil particularly, and gas companies in general.
