Abstract
  • Business disaster recovery is often conceptualized in terms of technical continuity and operational logistics. However, the psychological dimensions—particularly the impact on business leaders and employees—are frequently overlooked. This paper explores the mental health effects associated with business disaster recovery efforts, drawing upon existing literature, case studies, and psychological frameworks. The findings underscore the importance of integrating psychological well-being into business continuity plans. The study concludes that holistic disaster recovery, which includes mental health provisions, can foster resilient organizational ecosystems and sustainable recovery.
