Abstract
  • The study of how teachers integrate digital games into their teaching and learning has not been widely explored. In this paper, the document analysis method was used to analyse the forty lesson plans created for Minecraft Edition. The findings explain descriptively the language, topic areas and skills, and student age of the lessons. Minecraft lessons were analyzed to work towards creating a taxonomy of teachers' designs. This study provides insight into the current uses of Minecraft Education as an educational tool and begins to explore how teachers design with the Minecraft Education Framework for educators.
