Online education has experienced rapid growth, and at the same time challenges such as student disengagement, isolation, and lack of collaboration persist, undermining its effectiveness. This paper proposes a framework aimed at integrating persuasive technology in online education to enhance student engagement and promote collaborative social support. The framework combines principles from persuasive design, social support, and self-efficacy theories to address the emotional and cognitive aspects of learning. By incorporating personalization, real-time feedback, social influence, and peer support, the proposed framework aims to create a motivating and engaging learning environment. A qualitative approach is used to assess the framework's effectiveness through in-depth interviews, focus groups, and observational studies with students and educators in online courses.
