Leveraging Integration and Service Quality in Vocational-Technical Education: Evidence from Ningxia, China

Abstract
The main characteristic of vocational education lies in the integration of industry and education (IIE). The IIE is an important direction for the development of modern vocational education and is also the key to differentiating it from undergraduate education. However, current research lacks empirical tests on the impact of IIE on service quality, learning outcomes and student satisfaction. This study aimed to explore the influence of IIE on the service quality to benefit the students. Using quantitative research methods, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 625 students of the participating colleges in Ningxia, China. The SmartPLS analysis software was used to test the numerous hypotheses. This study adopted the PLS-SEM method This study identified the components of IIE and verified the relationships and influences between IIE and service quality.
