This study analyzes the preferences of the people of Banda Aceh City towards choosing bill payment instruments. The total sample used was 156 households using binary logistic regression to estimate the model in this study. The study results show that age, income, and number of family members significantly affect preferences for selecting bill payment instruments. While gender, employment status, and education are not significant. Recommendations to the people of Banda Aceh who pay bills using a digital wallet for various information or knowledge about paying bills through a digital wallet. The government should introduce digital bill payments or implement a policy-making mandatory digital bill payment. Recommendations to future researchers to add or replace with other variables and adjust to the possibility that will occur in the future.
