Abstract
With the increasing emphasis on cultural elements in global design innovation, applying traditional art forms in modern product development has gradually become a hot topic. Chinese calligraphy, as an art form with visual aesthetics and a deep cultural heritage, is still a topic worthy of in-depth study on how it can be effectively integrated into modern product design. Although Chinese calligraphy has been widely praised in art and design circles, the application of Chinese calligraphy in product design has not been fully explored. Therefore, there is a need for an in-depth analysis of the integration of Chinese calligraphy elements in modern product design, as well as an exploration of its impact and contribution to creative product development. This paper analyzes three aspects: the aesthetic characteristics of Chinese calligraphy elements and their cultural significance, the way of fusion between the art of calligraphy and modern product design, and the role played by calligraphy in product innovation. It is shown that Chinese calligraphy not only enhances the cultural connotation of products through its unique visual expression but also stimulates innovative design thinking through its artistic qualities. This finding suggests that Chinese calligraphy has a far-reaching influence and practical application potential in modern product innovation. It provides strong theoretical support and practical direction for promoting the integration of traditional culture and modern design, which is of great academic and industrial significance.
