Poverty is considered as the curse of any development. The aim of the study is to describe the contribution of individual Zakat and Sadaqah payer in dealing with the sustainable development of Bangladesh. The data is also showed the contribution of Zakat and Sadaqah that deal with the impact of sustainable development in various forms, by providing scholarships, bearing educational expenses, managing job, creating small entrepreneur, counselling distributing basic necessities, helping orphanages through Zakat, and Sadaqah. This study is designed to link the beauty of Zakat and Sadaqah in Islam to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically referring to Bangladesh as a country. Case study method is adopted for this purpose. The paper, therefore concludes with the Employment Generation Model that may be the effective model for achieving the Sustainable Development goals of Bangladesh through Zakat, and Sadaqah before 2030 easily; side by side Bangladesh can be the role model of entire world.
