Nomophobia dan konflik kerja-keluarga di Malaysia: Satu analisis menggunakan structural equation modeling

Abstract
  • Matlamat kajian ini adalah untuk mendedahkan impak nomophobia ke atas keseimbangan hidup bekerja dan meramal sumber lain konflik kerja-keluarga dalam kalangan penjawat awam di Malaysia. Dalam tempoh ini, tidak ditemui kajian yang menyelidik perkaitan diantara nomophobia dengan aspek keseimbangan hidup bekerja terutamanya dalam organisasi formal. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidik perkaitan nomophobia dengan aspek keseimbangan hidup bekerja iaitu konflik kerja-keluarga berasaskan masa, terikan dan perilaku dalam kalangan penjawat awam daripada lapan organisasi awam di utara semenanjung Malaysia. Pengkaedahan kuantitatif digunakan dan 250 respon digunakan dalam analisis akhir Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Dapatan mendedahkan penjawat awam di organisasi tersebut berhadapan dengan risiko yang tinggi dalam konflik kerja-keluarga berasaskan masa dan terikan akibat nomophobia tetapi tidak bagi konflik kerja-keluarga berasaskan perilaku. Kajian ini telah menyumbang dalam menambah satu faktor risiko baharu kepada pekerja dalam mengekalkan tahap keseimbangan hidup bekerja yang mereka ingini.
