Abstract
  • Pengangkutan berkaitan dengan kenderaan tidak bermotor telah Wujud tahun 50-an dahulu. Ia penting bagi menjamin kehidupan dalam persekitaran yang bersih, sihat dan berkualiti tinggi. Kadar pemilikan kenderaan bermotor di Malaysia meningkat setiap tahun dan ini mengakibatkan sistem pengangkutan bandar-bandar di Malaysia mempunyai imej buruk seperti kesesakan, kemalangan, ketiadaan pengangkutan awam sebagai alternatif serta konflik pembebasan gas karbon ke ruang atmosfera menyumbang kepada pencernaran alam dan kepincangan dari aspek kualiti mobiliti kehidupan secara umumnya. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kesediaan masyarakat terhadap pengenalan model anjakan mod pengangkutan tidak bermotor. Pengenalan model anjakan mod pengangkutan tidak bermotor terutamanya berbasikal dan berjalan kaki akan meningkatkan gaya hidup sihat dan dapat mengurangkan karbon dioksida. Teknik logistik regresi model digunakan untuk analisis faktor keinginan pengguna kenderaan bermotor bertukar kepada kenderaan tidak bermotor. Hasil analisis logistik regresi mendapati pokok bunga dan pokok yang memberi teduhan serta sistem perlindungan cuaca seperti bumbung dapat menambah aktiviti kenderaan tidak bermotor.
