Abstract
  • This article explores the importance and significance of integrating and infusing culture into early childhood art education, highlighting that incorporating local culture into early childhood art education can enrich teaching content, foster students' creativity, and cultivate their aesthetic awareness. The article discusses the pathways through which local culture can permeate early childhood art education, including the selection of teaching content, innovation in teaching methods, and interdisciplinary integration. It also covers integration methods, such as creative practice and campus cultural activities. The article emphasizes the need to strengthen the infusion and integration of local culture to bring new vitality to modern art. In recent years, with the increasing emphasis on and promotion of local culture by the state, cultural education has gradually become an important topic in the field of education. To promote the inheritance and development of local culture, the government has introduced a series of related policies, recommending that schools integrate local culture into educational activities. In this context, early childhood art education has become an essential course for cultivating students' aesthetic awareness, creativity, and cultural literacy. We must actively respond to national policies, allowing students to experience the charm of local culture in their art studies and enhance their cultural confidence.
